Our Story
The passion behind Little Flamingo Academy is deeply personal. When my firstborn started Montessori school abroad at 9 months old about 10 years ago, I wanted to be present in her learning journey. This inspired me to complete a course with the North American Montessori Center (NAMC). As a university lecturer, studying came naturally to me, and I was driven by the desire to create a space where children could flourish.
This personal journey not only shaped the foundation of Little Flamingo Academy but also fuels our daily commitment to the children we serve. Having experienced firsthand the transformative impact of Montessori education, I wanted to create a space where children could develop into confident, independent thinkers, just as my own child did. It’s this passion that drives us to hire only the most dedicated and qualified Montessori educators—professionals who share our belief in the power of individualized learning. We strive to offer a school where every child feels valued, nurtured, and inspired, ensuring that their earliest educational experiences set them on a path to success, both academically and personally.
As Dr. Maria Montessori said, “The greatest sign of success for a teacher is to be able to say, ‘The children are now working as if I did not exist.’”
